Question: Can I do anything with chutneys apart from serving them as an accompaniment to poppadoms?
Answer: Chutneys can be used as a delicious spicy marinade. Spread a couple of tablespoons over chicken breasts and leave in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Then grill or roast. If you haven�t any dry spices at home, add 2 teaspoons of chutney while making your curry. Remember, if you�ve made your chutney out of fresh ingredients, they will only last for about four days in the refrigerator. |
